What if I don't see the character, theme or package option I am seeking?
Let us know your wishes and dreams by filling out our Booking Request Form or giving us a text/call. We love to dream big and think outside of the box so any new ideas are appreciated. With enough time, we may be able to customize your special event.
Can I change my event character(s) after securing my event?
Absolutely! If we have character availability for your new request on your event date and time, a switch can be made. All switch requests must be made no later than one week before your event.
What is the benefit of a Fairy Helper/Host and do I need one?
Having a Fairy Helper or Host attend our events is what allows us to obtain the professionalism our customers seek. Your Helper/Host will control the flow of the event as well as the various activities we include. This allows your princess(es) to remain 100% engaged in the children and allows you to sit back relax and enjoy the show. Fairies/Hosts are also in charge of playing the background music, setting up crafts, and crowd control at varying events. The are a must have for getting the most out an event!
How do I pay for my event?
Once we can confirm our performers are in fact available for your event, you will be emailed an invoice for a party deposit of 50%. You can conveniently pay your invoice online with a credit card through our invoice service. Your final balance will follow and will be due the Friday before your event.
Should I tip my performers?
Tips are not expected but always appreciated. If you feel overjoyed with your performers visit and would like to give them a little thank you, your team would be humbled and grateful for our generosity. The amount would be entirely up to you. But again, not at all expected :).
How early should my guests arrive?
We ask that your event is set to begin at at least 15 minutes before your performers to ensure the magic of how your princess arrives remains intact.
Can we invite boys to our princess party?
Of course! We come to our events prepared to entertain boys and girls alike. With a multitude of activities, there's fun for everyone!
Can we cancel due to sickness?
Life happen, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If your child becomes sick, please let us know asap. We are happy to reschedule your event for another time where we have availability.
Will FairyTaled cancel due to a performer sickness?
A cancel on our part due to performer illness is extremely unlikely. For every event we book, we schedule an additional performer to remain "on call" as a back-up in case we have a call out. This is an added piece of mind that your child will not be disappointed due to performer sickness.
What happens if there is bad weather on my event day?
When booking A FairyTaled Event princess party, please note that we require you to have an alternate plan for outdoor spaces in the event of poor weather (rain, extreme wind or heat). If roads have been deemed unsafe for travel by weather officials, then we will need to reschedule your event as the safety of our performers and your guests are top priority.
How far do you travel for events?
Any event over 30 miles (one way) from our base location will have an additional travel fee of .50 cents per performer/per mile over the limit. This fee goes directly to your performer to cover their additional commute time and gas. Our maximum travel limit is 45 miles (one way).
Do characters come to my home? What other venues can the characters attend for my event?
Yes, the majority of our events are hosted in the comfort of your own home. If you would like us to attend your event at a public space, we simply ask that you confirm that your venue is comfortable with outside company performers attending.
Do I need to purchase any supplies for my event?
Your performers will bring everything necessary to entertain your guests. If you would like enhance your event with decor, food, drinks and cake, these items will need to be purchased separately.
Can I audition to become a part of the FairyTaled team?
We are constantly keeping our eyes peeled for talented performers. If we are not hosting a formal audition at the time of your interest, please submit an Audition Request Form and we will reach out for private audition as space opens up.
